About Me Hello everyone, my name is Arturo Mireles. I'm a dual-partner student at Linn-Benton Community College and at Oregon State University. My current major is nutrition, with an emphasis in dietetics. I'm originally from Oxnard, California, but moved to Corvallis, Oregon in 2022 to start a new journey with my family. Some fun things I like to do in my free time are hanging out with friends, listening to music, going to the gym, and playing basketball (if my knees are healthy lol). Another cool fact about me is that I have two beautiful white German Shepherds named Tasha and BJ. The reason why I chose Linn-Benton Community College was to save some money for school and fully transfer to Oregon State University to achieve my goals. With my degree, I want to work with athletes on a collegiate level to ensure that their dietary needs are met and can use nutrition to improve their performance and recovery.
